Bottle Presentation: Clean, classy, and easy to read.

Appearance: Pale gold.

Nose: Tropical fruit (banana, lychee, pineapple), citrus (lemon), and minerality. Some nuttiness emerged as the wine opened.

Taste: Dry, low-to-medium acidity, and full bodied, with notes of tart citrus (lemon, white grapefruit rind), nuttiness, and minerality

Finish: Long on the citrus and minerality

Overall Impression: A full bodied, balanced wine, with a burst of complex aromas and flavours that revealed themselves as the wine opened. It paired very well with ham-and-sweet pea risotto, cutting the richness of the dish. It reminded us why we enjoy Viognier so much, and we would definitely buy another bottle. Well done, Jean-Pierre!
