Overall Impression: A big Italian wine that paired nicely with the variety of dishes we had. It stood up to the Parmesan fondue and the Arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The sundried tomato-goat cheese pizza rounded the wine to make it quite enjoyable to drink, while the four-cheese pizza rendered the wine more peppery/spicy.
