Nose: A lovely medium nose, with notes of raspberry jam, black pepper, green peppers, and tobacco

Taste: Light body, medium acidity and tannins, with notes of cranberries, sour cherries, raspberries, green peppers, dark chocolate, earth, cedar, and a touch of saltiness

Finish: Long, pleasant finish

Overall Impression: We thoroughly enjoyed this 13th Street Cabernet Franc. A great wine to sip, enjoy, and contemplate on its own, or paired with dark chocolate, cheese, vegetable or lighter meat dishes. It’s too bad, or maybe it’s a good thing, it’s only available to Cellar Door club members…
